What is Integrative Therapy?
Integrative Therapy considers the whole person, not just their symptoms. We discuss your basic health and whether you have other physical issues contributing to your mental health. We also discuss your sleeping, eating, and exercise habits and work together on coming up with a comprehensive way to approach your mental health.
Is integrative therapy right for me?
Integrative therapy is right for nearly all high functioning clients who are open to doing talk therapy in addition to making lifestyle changes as well.
Who is integrative therapy not right for?
Integrative therapy is not right for individuals who are are in crisis (actively experiencing suicidal/homicidal thoughts/attempts or are experiencing active psychiatric symptoms such as hallucinations(auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory)
What can I expect during my first visit?
Your first visit will consist of completing an assessment which we will go over together. Upon your assessment we will come up with a plan for what you like to work on. From there we will continue to review your plan and make adjustments as needed. Understand that therapy is not a one size fits all modality. Making adjustments to your life situations, may be necessary from time to time for the best outcomes.
