My name is Janea (pronounced Ja-nae) Charles and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker living in Houston, Texas. I am licensed to provide services in both Texas as well as Florida (Telehealth Only) Telehealth (flhealthsource.gov).  

A Louisiana native, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Child and Family Studies and moved on to Louisiana State University and obtained my Masters degree in Social Work. Currently, I am currently working toward pursuing an additional Masters degree in Business Administration through Southern University also located in Louisiana. 

 

Throughout my professional career I have worked with a wide variety of ages including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; with my personal "sweet spot" being adults 18 and up.  My specialties include: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and women's issues.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, learning about plant-based living, and spending time with family and friends. However, my most beloved and important role is being a wife and mother. I appreciate clients who are flexible and understanding as I too do my best to be flexible to their personal needs as well.
